Fantastic instrument. Feels like a nice step up from a bullet strat.
Definitely easier to reach the low E string with small hands.
Sounds nice and punchy and looks incredible.
Importantly, this was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition which is a concern when buying online and based on this experience, I would be happy to buy online again from PMT.

The item I wanted was a b stock Martin D15M with 345 case- they didn't have the correct case and tried to sell it with a Cole Clark case. It was annoying that this error was made but I think what annoyed me more was that they are selling the exact case it was advertised with. In fairness they cancelled with no problem but could clearly have fulfilled the order and taken it on the chin as their error. Left a bad taste in the mouth.

Not a good experience.
I've bought a few bits from PMT Online before without issue and looking for a new guitar I assumed that a big company like this would be a safe bet when shopping online and my experience previously was fine.
I ordered a brand new Gretsch bass guitar, when the parcel arrived inside the outer shipping box was a Squier bass guitar box with PMT Online branded tape on it. Not a good start.
Inside this box was, in fact, the Gretsch bass guitar that I had ordered, this was wrapped in bubble wrap and more PMT Online branded tape. Again, not great.
Checking the guitar over showed that this was clearly a shop displayed and used item, it was completely covered in fingerprints, the pickguard was scratched right across the Gretsch logo and the tone control was extremely loose and seemingly broken.
Checking the serial number showed that the guitar was an early 2019 model so arriving in November 2020 means that it could have been on display and used for well over a year - certainly not a brand new item and the fact that the guitar was dirty and damaged is just plain awful service.
If you are buying a brand new item online you should receive a brand new item, if they only have a display model then you should be informed of this, its age and its true condition - this really should then be offered as a B-Stock item with a suitable discount applied and you can then choose to accept this or not.
I raised this with PMT Online and they advised that the only other item they had was also a display item so they arranged for the guitar to be collected and for me to be issued a refund upon its return.
The guitar was picked up by courier promptly but I had to chase them after two weeks in order to actually receive the refund.
All in all, a pretty terrible experience and one that I will not be repeating with them in the future.

Item advertised with 10% off but wasn’t aloud to enter the discount code. Couldn’t be reached on the phone. Eventually replyed to and email but would not honour the discount deal
